well she needs some upgrading (thinking fleet then t5 upgrade) but here she is

She has served me well for a while but I can always use advice to improve her
Does your warp core have combat benefits on it? Im not sure of the attribute flags (Wish it was spelled out on academy).
Your ship is NOT a T5U on Academy, did cryptic give you a T5U upgrade token? The extra console is very useful.

The THIRD set power of MACO Space (Heavy Graviton Beam) seems a rather useless skill. 3k kinetic dmg every 2 minutes is not worth it. So I would actually look into benefits of other 2-set bonuses (OR) fleet items and consider dropping the Engine or Deflector.

I would put the Zero Point module in an engineering or sci slot. Maybe the Delta set (gel pack and proton beam) aren't helping you as much as you would otherwise hope? the third set bonus that has looks interesting, but without it, I think they are doing you more harm than good.

With the above suggestions, my biggest recommendation is to use antiproton tactical consoles (and use as many as you can). When it comes to sacrafice in my opinion, the sci/eng consoles can take a hit.

And my favorite piece of advice I give everyone, cause, hey, it helps even a little:

warp core puts excess weapon power to shields since I had ran full [power to weapons that usually meant I ended up with this build especcialy cycling emergency to shields running around 120 on average to my shields 125 to weapons plus some extra to other systems. as for the t5 upgrade they did but then it literally vanished at the new year I am told I deleted it yet I never did. but I got enough to get a new one. I am going to wait though to get a fleet ship before upgrading it honestly as for sets. as for rearranging and dumping consoles I got no issue there either.
Does got no issue there mean- you are up to try it, or you don't want to? Smile

Like the Baz Lhurman song - (and if you haven't listened to it, doing so will make my point hahah)

I run my shield performance around 30% static. The boosts bring it up quite a lot but I never pay much mind to it. I think what you have said makes a lot of sense. There is a thread here where I have posted an excel spreadsheet and you can compare the ships available against one another. Since you know you are moving out of this old bird it makes sense not to dump credit into this one.

Are you going cruiser? Or carrier or escort? I guess knowing you are moving into a new ship changes what I might recommend solely on the ship basis.
Honestly I kinda am thinking I am going to stay cruiser it just feels more trek for me (says the person with an antiproton beam boat...*laughs*) as for no issue means I am willing to try anything... all it takes is honestly time and effort to get necessary equipment I don't have and that could be fun
