U.S.S. COLOSSUS - Ed's Vonph Dreadnought Carrier - Edarta - 11-28-2016 "Her Royal Clumsiness, the USS COLOSSUS, has entered sensor range!" The Vonph is the biggest ship I can play so i musted to have it!!! That vessel requires a lot of patience and care, so I assigned it to my TOS toon that does the same to me   I started experimenting with a full set of Herald ship consoles. These offer a variety of cool effects with 2m CD - but are less effective than one could wish. So I gave them a kick-good-bye, keeping the Elite Herald Baltim Raiders hangar pets. My build now works fine - when my flying glacier gets into range after 100 seconds or so, it packs considerable damage: The video by Sarcasm Detecor helped a lot (ignore the ship price issue - the Vonph has dropped below 150M at the Exchange) and shows a more versatile approach than the setup suggested by the DPS Metal Cannels guys.
