New Discord Server

WEE-WUU!!

New Discord Server has been created as the old Admin went MIA. So all the ideas of rooms and/or modifications we had were impossible to get done.
So a new one had to be created.

What we have done so far:
Solar News Network will be used for all major news sorrounding our Armada, where Mom and Ed can announce upcoming fleet events or any other changes etc.
Federation News Network will be used for auto-broadcasting news from different sources (eg. Ambassador Kael Twitter feed atm), but Im working on getting News from the STO webpage directly feeded into that channel as well; other will be added if we find them relevant.

We have also created the generic rooms for group TFOs (Voice) but also channels for braggin' about your DPS-scores or if you need help for your ship-build, ask away and I bet everyone will chip in with their ideas or good advise.

There is also a channel to post your STO-related memes/videos or just funny link that you want to share.

Above is just a brief introduction to it all.
If you have any questions, ideas or other things that we might have missed, let us know.

Hihi!

For the Star Trek Las Vegas convension, we're planning to set up a gaming site, with some premade characters for players to use.

But what to name them?????

On the FED side, we have:
Vulcan SCI male
Human ENG female
Andorian TAC female
Jemmie TAC

The KDF is sending:
Klingon TAC male
Gorn TAC male
Rommie SCI female
Orion ENG female

If you have a clever name, post it!

BTW, once these toons are created, we need some help getting them leveled. (Don't need to worry about reputation, R & D, etc., just leveling.)

Bribery is involved, so we'll have thank you goodies and prizes for the winners.

LIVESTREAM THIS SUNDAY!

Darkthorne and Mom will be starting to livestream STO stuff this Sunday, October 14 at 3:00 PM CST. We hope you can join in!

You can catch us on youtube at "The Darkmom Consortium" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TcZ0I3qwJQ) - and we'll post the livestreams in smaller 'chunks' for those of you who don't have the patience for an HOUR of Mom and Dark blithering about factions, species, careers and costumes.

We invite everyone to join us on the livestream: we will be adding a Patreon option in the near future, with all funds going to help send the fleet back to Vegas in 2019. The more we raise, the more people we can have join us. (Unless Neutrino28 wins the lottery tonight - and then everyone gets to go!) If you can't donate (or don't want to) we do ask you to subscribe, like us, thumb us up, all that good stuff. When we have 1,000 subscribers, youtube will allow us to monetize the site, and again, some money (not much - it's youtube) will go toward the convention.

While the purpose of the livestream is to sort of talk through how to play from a newbie's POV (Same as the books*), we'll also be talking about new game content and whatever thrills you folks.

*Yes, we are writing a gamer's guide book. Books. We're going to be doing a kickstarter for that (all proceeds go to the convention!) and a gofundme for the convention booth itself. Yes, we have PLANS!

It is a pleasure and an honor to welcome Fleet Horizon as new sibbling in our Star Fleet Strike Group Armada family.

I have seen many new names in Strike Group chat during the week and I am happy to meet all those friendly intelligent life forms! Do I sound like Q the Obnoxious? I hope not so ;-)

May be you also dare to say Hello to other fleets too in the Armada_One chat channel. It's an inter-faction inter-armada channel where you can also meet the friendly folks from the Fubar Inc Armada (Klingon Strike Group is a happy Beta fleet there).
