Bio:	Saysle Vian was born into the house Lexan, and was raised as such, to be a typical aristocrat and lady of the court, the social systems as they were on Betazed did not allow a member of her house to do much more than address the management of their holdings and promote a social compliance between other houses. Before she was born, she was designated a Matron, one who would look after the youngers of her house and enforce the traditions of the house, saysle did as she was told. Although obedient to her father and mother she was always more interested with how the body worked and how that which was hidden even from the likes of other Betazoids was accessible, so she enrolled in university and obtained a juris doctorate as well as her medical license. She practiced medical law for six years and took on a medical practice after that working in both fields until the age of twenty-eight, and then Starfleet became involved. She had dealt with Starfleet many times in the past even working for their JAG Corps on many occasions as a consultant; she had no desire to join Starfleet as she found them to be rather boring after you got past typical pleasantries, other than the occasional fling with eager young officers, she limited her engagement with their duties to advisory. While on holiday with her mother travelling to Vega IX on the federation starship Prometheus that had offered them diplomatic fare, there was a major incident in engineering that forced them to eject the core, leaving them stranded for four days, only sixteen hours from Vega IX, her mother requested and was granted a shuttle to finish the trip, but Saysle had volunteered to assist with the injured after the incident and refused to join her mother on the trip, her mother left without her and Saysle took it as a sign that other people's misfortunes would never come before the duties of the court and she regretted her heritage for the first time.
