Welcome Zylyn. Is your friend a member of the fleet? I joined the fleet a few years back and fell in love with the game. The fleet is what sucked me in. Being able to chit chat with others around the world about almost anything and playing the game at my own pace was like a breath of air. I found it awesome to be able to "do my own thing" and still team up with others or help others when they need it.
