I love finding a beautiful location, good light and showing off with my ships Smile


With Undine set, after a session at the ship tailor, at the Kendren system, my USS GIPSY QUEEN looks so... boldly going Smile

I made it using these commands to clean my lense:
/renderscale 2 (be gone, evil pixels! default is 1)
/gfxsetdefaultfov 20 (zoom close! default is 55, 60 is cooler for playing)
/screenshot (GUI free, high quality TGA image)
and used gimp to resize and cut the TGA image, saved as PNG.

what res was your screen at?
I love GIMP. Not the friendliest interface but so powerful and of course free. Nice shot!

I cant wait to graba few shots of my ferengi summer ship ... once I have it Big Grin

I run 1920 x 1080 on a 19" which fits well on my play & work desk. At /renderscale 2 I see a smoother universe and my gear (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760, Intel 4 core i5 at 3.2 GHz, 8 GB RAM, 64bit Win7 Home Pro) could probably handle gaming with that. At /renderscale 4 I get ultra cool pictures - with ~3 (three) fps Big Grin

Starbase 157 on the map is (according to an eyeball comparison of deck heights) correctly proportioned to ships. Thus, thought I would make an approach image of a TOS Connie approaching this TOS starbase.
