A Nice way to gain XP quickly is to build items, at the highest level possible without using Dilithium. The best option would be Mk X Beam weapon.
Needs 1foc & 1tar & 1emi & 1eps & 2fir & 2pow = Mk X BEAM antiproton =
Nearly 350k per Mk X beam, plus the time to create it.

You can craft lower level gear at less cost, and shorter time, but you would need to be at the console the whole time to make it worth your while. Otherwise the 6000xp options are your best, but worth 50% less than any crafted item. (this is in relation to cost vs. time).

If you consider the current exchange rate of Dil. to Zen and Zen to Keys:
Keys = 2,450,000 (and 1 key is 125 zen not on sale)
Dil-->Zen = 182/1
Then 1000 Dil == (22750/107.69) = 107,693 E.C.

An Isolinear Chip = ea. - 4000 Dil | 3 Plekton | 5 Argonite Gas, so this is (430772 + (3*399998) + (5*535000)) = (430772 + 1199994 + 2675000) = 4,305,766
An Isolinear Circuitry = 500 Dil | 1 Radiogenic Particle | 4 Dentarium, so this is (53846 + 19995 + (4*449999)) = (53846 + 19995 + 1799996) = 1,873,837

Observing both the prices on these items and the prices of the mats themselves for each item to build, its sensible to do a little homework before building anything at all. Its also clear that supply and demand will play a role for anyone looking to make a profit.

This is a grand total self craft cost of 26,289,908 on 9/15/2014 for ultra rare.
The PURE purchase mats from exchange cost is 18,740,000 on 9/15/2014 + 5,600,000 for the ultra rare bonus items if you buy them.

very rare omni-beams sell on the exchange as low as ~9 million.
ultra rare omni-beams sell on teh exchange for as low as 28 million.

Looking at the odds, and noting that you get ~66-75% chance at ultra rare success with the 5.6mil boosts, it is not unreasonable to craft the ultra rares. With a little care, you can turn a 2mil profit, but even if you dont, the experience you gain is 12k, very nice to have. If you have dil, and a few rares, the cost goes way down. Either way.. thats the numbers as they stand today.
