Star Trek Online: Winter Rewards
It’s that wonderful time of year again, when Q opens the doors to his magnificent Winter Wonderland to participate in his version of festive cheer. Per tradition, the residents of Q’s universe have built new and wonderful prizes for captains to earn by participating in their annual festivities.
Chief among the new prizes being offered is the Breen Rezreth Dreadnought Cruiser [T6]. Q’s top engineers have been hard at work taking this massive vessel and giving it a complete overhaul to make it ready for captains to fly. A Dev Blog containing full stats and descriptions will be published separately, so keep your eyes open for it!
This year, players will claim the wonderful new starship by collecting Winter Prize Vouchers (2015) and using them to complete the new Event Reputation Project. Winter Prize Vouchers are available from completing the “Fastest Game on Ice” activity once each day while the event is running, or from visiting the Lobi Crystal Store to purchase them from the Lobi Crystal Consortium.
Fleets can also take part in the festivities by completing a new Fleet Project. Once completed, their Starbases can proudly display the 2015 Breen Ship Ornament featuring the Rezreth Dreadnought Cruiser.
Many new trinkets, costumes and other prizes are being added to the Winter Event Store. Once the store is unlocked, players may use the same Ornaments from prior years as currency to trade for all of the new prizes.

Two new color variants of Winter Jackets will be waiting for captains! These festive coats will now be available in Gumdrop and Sugar Plum color palettes, in all three of the existing Long, Short, and Cropped styles.
Two new Epohh mutations have been discovered this year. Captains who assist the Epohh Researcher in collecting Epohh Tags have the chance to obtain Gumdrop and Sugar Plum Epohhs.
This is similar to an Overcharge Turret, but only functions within Q’s Winter Wonderland. Each blast deals Snowball damage to snowmen in a cone, breaking the animated snowmen you’ll face within the Wonderland.
Similar to a Gravimetric Trap, this deliciously devious device only functions within Q’s Winter Wonderland. Activating it sends a whorl of Shaved Ice to chase after and entrap snowmen in a flurry of shaved ice.
Similar to a Solar Gateway, activating this device creates a gateway to another one of Q’s pocket universes, filled with treats and sweets. Once active, the gateway will fire a beams of shaved ice at nearby snowmen. This device only functions within Q’s Winter Wonderland.
Similar to a Blast Assault weapon, this sweet contraption only functions within Q’s Winter Wonderland. When equipped, this weapon fires globs of hot caramel at enemy snowmen from the attached backpack.
Ever want to get a bit more up close and personal with the animated snowmen? The Candy Cane Bat’leth is designed for the job, and only functions within Q’s Winter Wonderland. Hits from this weapon deal damage to snowmen.
Another option for taking the fight to the snowmen’s faces is the Lollipop Lirpa. This lovely weapon only functions on Q’s Winter Wonderland, and deals damage to snowmen.
Per tradition, new Nanopulse Edge melee weapons are available for players to acquire. While they function similarly to existing Nanopulse Edge weapons, these new offers are enhanced with additional flair.
A colder version of the well-known Chroniton Mine Barrier, this module deploys a series of Cryo Mines near your position. Enemies who walk over the mines suffer Cold damage and are slowed. Like most abilities, this Kit Module is “off-limits” for use while in Q’s Winter Wonderland.
An icy version of Photonic Overcharge, this module gives your weapons an additional burst of frosty energy. While active, weapon attacks deal additional Cold damage and slow your targets for a short time. Like most abilities, this Kit Module is “off-limits” for use while in Q’s Winter Wonderland.
A chilly version of Stasis Field, this module encases you foe in a chunk of ice, holding the target. Encased targets also take Cold damage over time, which persists if the target is broken free from the ice early. Like most abilities, this Kit Module is “off-limits” for use while in Q’s Winter Wonderland.
Much the same as the snow-themed vanity pets offered in years past, this delicious new vanity pet will happily follow you around while Q’s Winter Wonderland is active. Once the event has ended, activating the Snowconian will instead plop down an inanimate version of the wonderland creature.
All of the above prizes are being added in addition to the seasonal trinkets that have been made available over the course of the previous appearances of Q’s Winter Wonderland, allowing a huge assortment of prizes to be earned by participating in the various activities available throughout his playful tribute to the holiday season.
