To be able to farm Ecs 1st we need to get to the delta mission arc (remember you can skip most missions).
get to the mission the Kobali front (note i dont remmeber but when you hit the Kobali front you cant skip the missions to reach the misison we intend to use in order to farm)
once you reach this do missions till you reach Kobali Crisis arc part II mission 3 (a new warfare).

Here is a video that links itself with the entire kobali crissis act made by Edarta and will help you trough getting to the mission we want:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2C0f8F4I...Xh1FrN6UPs

the mission a new warfare is our objective to get [Personnel Reward - "Kobali Warfare Specialist"].

The box is bounded but when you open it, you will be rewarded a duty officer that you can trade and sell in the exchange. Note that i get 60 boxes per toon/character that can net me around 30m ecs per toon depending on luck and loot i get from the duty officer box.

The mission can be repeated after you finish it (it has no cooldowns) and can be done pretty fast with any class.

You can do it fast or at a normal rate or extremely fast that is up to you but now i will put a few tips on how to do it with a a few classes:

With science officer:
For this i go the dps way (slow) i use only the snow boots(winter event) and the Terran fortune tribble still with this i dont have enough speed to do it as fast as i would want. The thing is if you are fast enough you can go to kobali city and to the upsidehill outpost to the point you have to kill the vaadwaurs to start the mission you only would have to kill those waadwaurs only once since you would be reaching the point so fast they would not be able to spawn at all. With my science officer i cant do this yet not because i cant but because i dont want to lose too much dps (i mean i kill the things in just a few secs with my science officer)

With a tactical officer things can get a bit easier, you would only need a XV motion accelerator (UR if you can) and frost boots, with that it should be enough to reach the point and only having to kill the vaadwaurs once as long as you know what path to choose.

Anyways i will let you here 2 links for dps ground and the second for speed builds enjoy:

https://www.sto-league.com/ground-builds/

by request i will try to make and upload a video on youtube of this guys so ask away and if enough requests are made i will make it.

final note: you can retake the mission by talking to the original npc that gives you the mission i think its faster than to use the replay console on kobali city.

For Immediate Release to all Captains.

Read Team Chat:
These 2 missions are heavily teamwork oriented to complete, so you need to Rez fallen Captains, because if they respawn they go to time out.... and those of us that don't will come and mock you in time out when you do! You also need to leave the start area quickly or you will be trapped in the the Timeout area, just like those that respawned.

Second and just as important maybe more is don't use any HEAT based attacks on the Tholians, this INCLUDES the SOLAR GATEWAY and the sci ability exothermic reaction. But mostly the Solar Gateway, swap it out morons and stop making the mission harder by providing aid and comfort to the enemy. Or be brought up on charges of TREASON! just like the first traitor, Micheal Burnum, or whatever her name was. Molten Terrain & Methuselah Drone should also be avoided. Hyperonic Radiation is an AOE healer for Tholians, AVOID at ALL costs! It can Dramatically heal them and cause a TPK, so not good.

Third, instead of the previously mentioned Kits which shall not be named again, use ANY kit from Q's Winter Wonderland! They do Massive amounts of cold damage to the Tholians and are PERFECT for dealing out the hurt to those Heat loving crystals! Also the Hurricane Turret from the Summer event is good for damage but makes falling in the acid more likely as visibility is reduced to Zero, use it and similar kits with Extreme caution.

Recap;
1) Communicate
2) Don't Respawn!
3) Rez the Fallen (you know who you are that don't!)
4) Avoid Helping the Tholians by healing them
5) Win and get your Prizes
6) Stop and Prevent Annoying PSAs like this one, Remember only you can stop Annoying PSAs act responsibly!

Aishi's Salvage Endeavor Tip!

When you hit up the Defera Battlezone (aka the Borg Ground BZ) you'll often find yourself getting these: [Cybernetic Armature] [Fibro-Neural Interface Cabling] [Nanopower Capacitor] as not only drops but daily mission rewards. SAVE them!
At the Base Camp you can Trade them for Greens (supposedly good for fighting the Borg but junk really! like mkI shields with the Plasma damage reducer? seriously?) ranging from MkI to MkX, it helpfully tells you how many of each you could make as well as the individual costs. ALL you have to do is go see your faction's Research Scientist or Military Researcher, and trade your drops/mission rewards for them and then salvage them! Your Choice of Shields, Armor, or weapons or any combination there of. Each costs 11 to 35 of the items, the combination varies on what type it is. So mix and match get one of each and you'll roughly use 11 to 35 of each item (if you have the same amount of each. Otherwise buy the ones that require you to "spend" what you have the most of first to maximize your salvage operation.
Easy right?
You can use just 3 slots in your bank to hold enough to do any salvage endeavor you get. So if you're looking for a way to make some dil and be ready for that salvage endeavor instead of buying junk on the exchange consider the Defera BZ as a place to stomp some Borg, get Dil, marks (which you can trade for dil), and currency for salvageable junk you DON'T have to spend EC on or spend time alting/running some mission to get drops.

Ohhh and if you go... don't forget your TR-116A/B! They don't adapt to it =) so you spend more time shooting and less time being a target!

Aishi's Pahvo Tips
For immediate Redistrubution to the Fleets.

The Best tactics for Pahvo that I've seen are as follows:
Split into 2 groups and start clearing 2 areas this should take about 5 minutes, with the first group that clears their Region heading towards the third untouched region.
Remember if you start purification of the 3rd Crystal in a region with LESS then 90 seconds on the timer you will NOT clear it in time. Better to save those CDs for the Battle at the spire.
Eng Captains, Turrets here are your friend! Used often and in conjunction with a doff that increases the chance for a second turret to be beamed down can make the difference! Both in Defending the crystals during purification but also with defending the roots. Use your Shield ability to drop a shield in front of the most exposed Crystal to give it added protection.
Drones are also helpful, like Tac Teams they will chase after the enemy and could drop them before they get to the crystals/roots however they can start attacking multiple targets and get wiped out quicker.
Rez! If you're at a 2nd or 3rd Crystal and someone falls rez them so they are back in the fight sooner!
During the Boss Fight with the Captains Focus on them! If they go down quick, then you don't need to worry about defending the roots after that! Otherwise have 3 on the Capts and 2 on Root Patrol!
Finally Gearing! A 65 Jem'Hadar with their STARTING gear can clear a region (might take a little longer but they can do it!) so you DON'T need UBER gearing to solo a region!!

Stay Safe out there Captains!

This is my most loved set up for Science Captains on Ground, suits me fine in Ground Elite PVEs:

The most dirty trick in this is to have the set weapon as secondary and a favorite beast as primary.

Two hyped ground weapons (herold staff, boolean) have deficiencies in single target damage or firing rate. Or they are freezing you in place while loading up their 2ndary attack.

I prefer the Plasma Wide Beam Rifle for its quick Special/Secondary attack that cooperates with the Temporal Operative Specialization or a Krieger Wave weapon that also has a reasonably quick 2ndary attack and a KPerf proc. As high cost, but very cool alternative to the set body armor I like the 23rd Century Experimental Environmental suits:

As you should know, Strike Group is hosting a booth at the ST con in Las Vegas this summer.

If you are planning to attend, for one day or for all, Mom is looking at renting a house rather than staying at the Rio. Would anyone be interested in sharing the accommodations?

Let me know soon (and only if you're serious about going!)

After many attempts to get this accolade from the new "Scylla and Charybdis" mission, I've found a few solutions.

One: team up. With two or more players in the mission, one of you can get the consoles while the Tzenkethi captain beats up the other one. Just remember to take the damage and not kill him too fast or you won't get the accolade.

Two: Distraction techniques. Before trying to override the console, trigger a distracting effect like Seismic Agitation or using something as basic as Neural Neutralizer. (Sandstorm Generator didn't work for me, BTW - I'll try the crystal fragment next time around.) Obviously, you'll have to alternate them - using both at the same time leaves you vulnerable for the next console, and lets Martok kill him too fast. (And yes, I've tried pinning the boffs in place so they don't kill him too fast, but my team apparently is TOO good and still killed him before I could get all four consoles.)

What solutions have you found?
