We're getting closer to the KSG Starbase reaching Tier 5 – but we've still got a way to go. So... We're holding another lottery! Yes! For every 60 doffs you contribute to the KSG Starbase projects (and only to these projects!!!!!) you will receive a ticket for the lottery!
I know, I know – not everyone has enough FC to pony up 60 doffs at one time – but that's not a problem. Just drop Mom and in game email every time you contribute ANY doffs to the KSG starbase projects, and she'll keep a running tally in THE BOOK. Once you hit 60, she'll email you, asking what number you are choosing for your lottery ticket. (You can check the fleet website to see what numbers are available.)
Because there is a 20 hour cool down on projects, we'll try to make sure that at least one is open during different time zones – but if you run into a problem, again, let Mom know and she'll figure out a solution!
Prizes abound – including a lobi ship once again ( and other cool prizes too!) Every ticket holder will win something!
1 ticket = 60 doffs
100 tickets available.
First come, first served for number selection
Fleet Party will be held for drawing - Open to ALL.
Please ask a fleet officer to witness your contribution! (If no officer is on line, send Mom money and she'll quit her job and do this 24/7... I mean, send her an email.)
Select from any available slot:

Fleet party to celebrate when we reach Tier 5!
When I saw first pictures of that ship, I was in love
A visit in ISA:
I got her immediately to 58+ k dps, and it is realy fun to play with that ship
The build looked into agility, several space traits are for survival as I currently dislike the ship's 5 sec shutdown for repairs trait.
Did I already mention how BIG she is?
The R.R.W. OLYMPUS actually is a flying mountain, but she can do this surprisingly well.

Join Mom for a 24 hour run (literally) across the STO universe to play ground missions, ground events, ground stfs and any and all things ground!
We'll team up on New Rom, Nimbus, Nukara, Defera, Zaria, Undine Infiltration, Infected Ground, The Big Dig... You name it, we'll play it.
TeamSpeak and Skype chat as well as chat box - and everyone is welcome to join in!
The Ground Grind kicks off at 6:00 pm (CST!) on Saturday, March 25 - details on the fleet event tab in your minimap.
See you there!

"Goes Everywhere, Does Everything"
After the I.K.S. PAX destroyed the "Klingon Alliance" Starbase in the Badlands, single-handed.
I put a lot of resources and work into this vessel, and yesterday morning she really gave me pride when a small group of players mastered the entire Badlands Battle Zone.
Many thanks to Ed and GTO for running all of the Tau Dewa patrols with me last night!
Here is my T5U Vesta torpedo boat in all her glory. She focuses on shield-penetrating exotic damage, shield drains, and kinetic damage. When fighting the Tzenkethi, her Gravity Well can be replaced with Tractor Beam Repulsors and/or Photonic Shockwave. Unlike energy weapons, torpedoes do not lose potency over distance, so pushing targets out of the way has no effect on her combat performance.
Two-Piece sets and bonuses:
I'm considering upgrading her to the T6 "Palatine" chassis, in order to slot additional science abilities.

Two-Piece sets and bonuses:
- Dyson Reputation (Torpedo + Proton Weapon) = +22.9% Photon Projectile Weapon Damage,+3% Critical Chance, Enables usage of Beam Array: Fire at Will with the Experimental Proton Weapon
- Delta Reputation (Torpedo + console) = +20% Cooldown Reduction to Neutronic Torpedo, +13.8% Radiation Damage
- Terran Reputation (Torpedo + console) = +13.3% Projectile Weapon Damage. Also, both items are independently awesome.
- Quantum Phase (Torpedo + beam) = Doubles potency of Quantum Phase Weapons shield drain
- Adapted MACO (impulse engines + shield) = +25% Torpedo Damage ,+8.9 Auxiliary Power Setting Regenerate, 3.5% of Maximum Hull every 6 seconds
I'm considering upgrading her to the T6 "Palatine" chassis, in order to slot additional science abilities.
Since some people asked about it, I am posting the details.

The 7th Anniverssary ship is one of the most beautiful free endgame ships I have ever seen.
Saur General Lizard is not level 50 yet, so some Mission/R&D/Rep consoles are not accessible yet. This is the current loadout and it runs smoothy. I also took the opportunity to play BOff abilities from the Undiscovered Lock Boxes:
![[Image: illuminatus-loadout.png]](http://www.safarihelm.de/sto/pix/illuminatus-loadout.png)
Primary Space Magic Attack is Gravity Well-3 + Structural Analysis-2, Secondary SMA is (pully!) Tractor Beams Repulsors-2 + Timeline Stabilizer, peppered by Sensor Analysis (SA -Def, EPG, Drain Deteriorrating Deflector)
- With a KDF T6 Science Ship new kid on the sector block
- and Multi Mission Vessels on the rise,
- I had no choice.
I needed a Gorn Science Captain:

Preparation - the Intelligence Record
The Cryptic Intelligence Agency came up with a description of some Tzenkethi ships. The System Design Chapter gives us most.
Tzenkethi ships cuddling together are reported to be almost unsinkable.
I started looking for an agressive approach for my Science captains that does not rely on the common Gravity Well tactics. Step 1 is picking one or two science skills that hurt the foe, step 2 is looking on Duty Officers: for the right type in the Interwebs, for the right person in your roster and in the Exchange.
Tzenkethi are reported to be very tough, less tough on their front arc where they sport their overly heavy weapons.
I observed Tzenkethi ships using Trajector Lock to rip me apart with Tractor beams while passing my position. Play agille, try new tricks and have Polarize Hull in your skill setup. I found attacking shields, movement, energy household and damage resistance very interesting options. Command Specialists and Intel Specialist offer nice attack vectors too (e.g. Overwhelm Emitters, EMP Probe, Ionic Turbulence, maybe Transport Warhead).
Shooting Practice
Broln'Ta Cruisers act likeIconian Energy gateways. Blast them first, Shuk-din Frigates maybe second, then everything else. A Tactician's Tank ship probably treats a Tzenkethi Big Thing like a Borg Cube.
Going to Battle
The Battle Zone requires Level 60.
Reputation Tier 1 at the Lukari Restoration Initiative gives you Transwarp to the Gon'Cra System. Swoosh, you are there.
Otherwise transwarp to the Fleet K13 Holding or to the Defera System, leave system and enjoy canonical space travel:
The Map and the Briefing
The Klingon Big Cheese gives you a briefing on the various actions. That makes sense as this is not just Undine BZ 3.0:
React on Counterattacks
Zones with dotted lines are umder attack. The Tzenkethi counter attacks are meant to win back.

- While the zone icon is Blue, NPC allies hold the line yet and a single player vessel may stop the counter attack.
- When the zone icon gets Gray, the zone is contested and needs full attention.
- When the zone icon is Orange, zone belongs to the Tzenkethi.

QAPLA'!
Medoq was born to serve our Klingon Strike Group as KDF allied Romulan. While Catriona a year ago was less happy with the Morrigu, I did NOT want another Cruiser/Dreadnought ship with roaring broadsides. I wanted something agile I could handle and I also felt a bit experimental.
Never underestimate a ship just because it's flying an AEGIS set and a Christmas Singularity - the ship is a main char's ship. On missing items see the notes. She wrecks a Borg base in The Cure Found Advanced on her own, not letting Raptors or Spheres escape.
Though not set up yet with her final space rep set, she does NOT explode on a regular basis from OSS-3 brown-outs. 2 seconds something offline are no deal for her
