Building her has been great fun. Now it's time to boldly go where no reasonable man has gone before

When I looked for a ship that fits my Orion Tactician Irina best, I wanted the Quas Flightdeck Cruiser (tested by Shrek thouroughly) for its cool looks. And I always wanted a ship that I can name "QUEEN ARACHNIA" in good confidence

The bridge and ship name asks an Orion Captain to wear Orion garnment, of course:

Fly a herold ship, walk like an egypt fight like a herold:

The weapons are Herold Antiproton Beam Arrays, [CrtD/CrtH][Dmg]x2. The lock box Polymorphic Probe Array console just belongs. An EMP Probe 2 and a Ionic Turbulence 1 in the Action trays are also just fitting. These are not a DPS decision. These are a matter of style and fun

As you can see, the ship equipment has to grow a bit. Irina also has to complete her Reputations yet. She managed to master the Kurak Battle Cruiser for Emergency Weapon cylces and with 3 blue Damage Control Engineers (EPtX CD, 500K EC from the Exchange each on KdF side), a purple Warp Core Engineer (EPtX -> Power level) and a purple Maintenance Engineer (Batteries) the ship does very well: 26 to 31 k dps and it is reasonably tough.

The Aegis set will stay for visuals, I go for a Dyson Impulse Drive & Dyson Shield, and an Undine Deflector. The MK X consoles will be upgraded to MK XII. At Enginneering Accolade IV, 2 purple Damage Control Engineers (Replicator and Staasz) will join the crew.

How did you get into Star Trek Online? 
Since I love Sci fi movies and games I started hunting for a cool space game.  I couldn't believe it when I found STO and that it had been out for a couple of years without me knowing. 



How long have you been playing for?  
Almost two years, I started on an under spec-ed laptop and had to take a break when Delta Rising wouldn't play on it.
Eventually got a better graphics card and been playing ever since.

What would be your best piece of advice to a new STO player?
Get through the missions to end game, get connected to a good fleet, ask lots of questions and most of all have fun and be yourself.  Someone else's ship build make be awesome but might not fit your style of play. 

What’s your favourite career type (Engineering, Science or Tactical)?
Never been anything more than Tactical.

What’s your favourite ship?
Advanced Escort Prometheus - but currently digging the Fleet Phantom Escort. 

What’s your best and worst STO moment?
Best
Got a nice compliment from someone in my previous fleet for using some well placed Gravity wells and high dps with phaser cannons.  It was a moment that I felt like I was finally getting the hang of things.


Worst
Entered into a Advanced or elite borg PVE with a friend who had no business being there.  We were accompanied with a  higher ranking fleet member but it was a blood bath.  At some point we were almost getting spawn killed by the game.  We put up a fight for a few minutes then realized it was hopeless.  

What are some of your other interests?
Spending time with my wfie and kids...I waited a long time for them to come into my life so game time happens when they don't need my attention.  I also work with my church teaching the teen class.  Video, tech, and I am picking up some gardening this year.

What’s your favourite band?
Skillet, Audio Adrenaline, Thousand Foot Crutch

Anything else you want to say?
Happy to be in an active fleet again. I have spoken with more people in this fleet on my first night in than I did in the past two months with my old fleet.

It's always been tactical for alpha strikes but trying science for a change.

Anything with EBC (intel Faeht was most recent, wicked ship) Kor will be my endgame ship on this toon.  Every fleet need a sci torpboat.

Other MMO's, gigs, long walks on the beach and rainy nights in.

How did you get into Star Trek Online?
I saw ads for it before it came out, and bought a promotional package copy of it at Walmart once it did.

How long have you been playing for?
On and off since it came out.  7 years ago? I never stayed active for very long after my initial run with it. My current run is the longest I've been active since then, and I hardly got far any of the other times; With how much the game has changed since I first started, you might as well call me a newbie.

What would be your best piece of advice to a new STO player?
Take your time.  For me, at least, this game gets rough if you level too quickly.

What’s your favourite career type (Engineering, Science or Tactical)?
Science.  In gameplay terms, I could find enjoyment in any branch, I just personally see myself as being a science officer if starfleet were real.

What’s your favourite ship?
I could never decide, even at gunpoint.  In general, I love the majority of Federation vessels.

What’s your best and worst STO moment?
I don't have any specifics. I'd say that my preferred moments are when I'm doing a quest that doesn't involve combat, as extremely rare as that seems to be.  Don't get me wrong: I enjoy combat, I just feel that there's far too much of it, and that ruins the Star Trek atmosphere for me sometimes.

What are some of your other interests?
Video games in general, and other types of fiction. I cannot think of any pastimes I have that are grounded in reality.

What’s your favourite band?
Another question I don't think I can definitively answer.  If I had to pick, I'd say Frank Zappa.  A close second place is The Mars Volta.

Anything else you want to say?
I look forward to getting to know and working with you all.  I've installed Teamspeak and I plan to start using the channel. I won't always be on it; As I've said before I'm quite fond of getting into the atmosphere of this game as much as I can.  That being said, I'd like to apologize in advance: I'm sure at some point I'll slip up and say something vulgar like the sailor I am, please let me know if I offend.  I still have quite a bit to learn about this game, and I am definitely lacking in understanding all of the privileges and responsibilities that come with being in a fleet; I can't wait to see what we can all learn from each other.

as a new shipsale should be not to far out I would need some advice on a major decision.
Which mega-bundle is better, Flagships or Command Cruisers?

As both are similar powerful I'm tending to the Flagships by pure aestheticsas (especially the Klingon Command Ships look awefull).

Happy for any suggestions/advice/mustard.

My first build since returning to the game after a year away, the pilot specialisation was all new to me but me likey and being an escort driver at heart I just had to give a pilot ship a go.  She packs quite a punch, especially at close range, and the warm, smug feeling of smugness you can only get from schadenfreude after rolling in, Cantabrian circleing and Parthian shoting a big, big baddie at full throttle or slamming into reverse to get the good ole flank kill in a dogfight is, in my humble opinion, worth the zen.

Hi everyone I'm @Ranger_Ryu (Kate is my main character) from your fellow Armada fleet The Phoenix Division,let's see here I'm from the UK started playing once the game went f2p but I buy ships etc in which I'm currently flying the Yorktown class Star Cruiser.

I'm more of a console gamer than I am a PC Gamer to be honest and I am a big Manga and Anime fan. I play a varied bunch of games from MMO's to JRPG's,to action adventure.So yeah that's it,looking forward to playing together with you guys!
