Science Captains get nailed!

My second expedition to the Furry Space had two parts. First, in Earth Space Dock I didn't know at all what this was about more or less intuitively picked things from the new Tree that looked similar to my Skills in the old Skill System. Character copy from Holodeck to Tribble does NOT port tray loadouts and as I was too lazy at that moment to complete the port other things had priority, Edar'Ta on Tribble got paused. Then Catriona (Romulan Tactician) got all the nit picky attention and I made the skill port map.
However "intuitive" sounds good especially if you are Romulan and not a Boring Beancounter Logicistic Vulcan. So I did not change things and used the Skills picked. I could not explore the new Ultimates a the build is quite a mess hybrid.

The interface on Tribble now offers detailed skill data as we know it from Holodeck. Tough and resistant on Holodeck, the revamp added some extra Science Grunt.

Clicking on the statistics get you to the recorded video. My Explosion at the end was caused by a Crit to a downworn shield, followed by 6 digit kinetic damage. I had the read the combat log with a spreadsheet programm to see that. Maybe I should opt for Shield Mastery...

The file binds multiple keys to perform the same action to allow some lax "hit the proper key board area" gaming. If I did not have a gaming mouse and a Logitech G13, I would use exactly this.
SpaceBar, Numpad-0 and Numpad-Decimal:
Spamming. Hit any of those keys to activate the first ability available in action tray 9 or 8 (only 1st 5 slots addressed), read/parse left to right. The script also always fires all weapons and redistributes shields when a key gets hit.
Numpad-1, Numpad-2, Numpad-3
Attack-Buffing. Hit any of those keys to activate the first ability availably in action tray 7.
Numpad-4, Numpad-5, Numpad-6
Shield Healing or Alternate Solution. hit any of those keys to activate the first ability availably in action tray 10.

On the right side I noted at each current skill which tree, leafs and/or unlock to pick if you want to have that skill after the change gets life.

The patch yesterday changed the way Combat Logs are stored: rather than appending the new data always to the same CombatLog.log file a new combat log file is created - as far as I observed at least one file per gaming session and at certain times (0:00, 12:00 GMT).
So far I have these log files collected, you should find similar gems, based on your online times

I am tinkering with the build yet, so far she runs 36 - 42K dps in ISA and can take a lot of beating. I picked mix of Odyssey and Yorktown at the tailor. I think, together with the Andromeda one of the best looking Federation ships

I am @daBelgrave, one of the leaders of the other group in the Armada, The Phoenix Division. We're a fairly small fleet that formed around the start of S6, and have a mix of members ranging from lifetimers to F2P, experience in PvE, PvP, and some RP, and playing from time zones scattered across Europe and the US. We also have a T4 KDF fleet (the House of the Phoenix), and have just begun filling the T5 Shipyard upgrade. We're pleased to be part of this armada, and hope to get to know you folks much better.
As for myself, I've been around since Head Start, greatly enjoyed PvP up to around S7 (although I still enjoy a good fight now and then), and am the creator of the Ship Comparison Spreadsheet and other useful spreadsheets in my attempts to better understand various game mechanics. I am in the Eastern US timezone, but am usually connected to chat throughout the day via XMPP.
My main character, One of Twelve (One@daBelgrave), is a Liberated Borg Science Officer, and uses escorts exclusively unless grinding out a ship trait. After having used practically every escort in the game, I would say my favorites have been the MVAE, Risian corvette, and the newer Pilot escorts. This character is also fairly good at ground, and can fill damage, healing, or tanking roles as needed. R&D is maxed, so feel free to ask if you want something made.

R.R.W. PIASSO
The R.R.W. PIASSO is my first and probably my one and only ship that easily soloes Gateways & Cubes in Khitomer Vortex. I already noticed the power of Cloak-Buff-Uncloak-Fire during the patrols I did for ship mastery.
The numbers from her 2nd ISA run show what she can do:

Scimitars and Aux2Bat: Shields Down, Singularity Implosion. I picked Engineering Team 3 and avoided the proverbial check-in to the ship yard so far. 5 Superior Romulan Operatives, at least one with Subterfuge, make my awesome bridge crew.
The target shields ability will be replaced by Kemocite laced Weapons when I got the EC.
As Duty Officers I have 3 Technicians (Aux2Bat), a Warp Core Engineer (Energy Levels) and a Conn Officer (Tactical Team CD) assigned.
Energy settings: 100/15/15/30

Weapon-wise the loadout is mostly traditional with [CrtD]x3 Plasma arrays and a full Romulan Singularty Harness - the Experimental Romulan Beam Array does not drain Weapon Energy and the 3-piece set bonus gives an extra punch. Running 30% critical hit, Bioneural Infusion Circuits got a hug.
Rather than going for a bag of tricks with the new T6 Flagship Consoles, I followed forum advices on Scimitars and picked the Shield Absorptive Frequency Generator from the Valdore (T3 Zen ship). In combination with the Energy Refrequencer trait from Iconian reputation and Intel Tier 1&2 abilities the ship uses it's considerable damage to heal itself on shields and sometimes hull in a way I have never seen before.
The Auxilliary Batteries are to help on survival when Aux2Bat has disabled the Science abilities:
A 2-slot key bind to [Polarize Hull][Auxilliary Batteries] in a visible tray either activates [Polarize Hull] on single click or I see PH disabled and do a double click, activating the batteries, and then the re-enabled hull polarization

The space set from Inconian Reputation does a solid job. Perhaps I go for the Singilarity from the Terran Special Forces Reputation.
Until I know how to get the Ship's Mastery Trait into noticable effect, I keep the single Torpedo in the aft slots. I need some field testing make up my mind.
The Hangar launches Romulan Elite Drones - these are Frigates. And Shapeshifters: looking like Borg Probes in ISA, cutsey Doodads in ESD, small Warbirds in missions...
