When I look at her...
I am unsure on the beam-wise smart Kinetic Cutting Beam/Assimilated Module bundle for that kind of ship. Any advice is welcome - what should go, what should I use?
![[Image: ship-calamity-kate.png]](http://www.safarihelm.de/sto/pix/ship-calamity-kate.png)
...does she want a Captain with Tatoos?
I never had a Torpedo Boat and I can not fly Escorts. So I combined these two assets into Excitement.
This is the build. The plain Photon Torpedoes, Disruptor Beam and missing Console are stunt doubles for Terran SF Reputation Projects/Shop items.
I did 3 ISAs so far, #3 with a"team member" that most of the time did... nothing.
#1 DMG Out: 6,176,431 DPS: 21,694.52 (16.5% of Team)
#2 DMG Out: 6,552,516 DPS: 20,994.92 (18.0% of Team)
#3 DMG Out: 24,297,127 DPS: 24,542.55 (59.6% of Team)

So... This is me bragging, or me looking to literally mark a date in the sand from when R&D was first introduced to us, or, perhaps its something more?
I pick the former. This is something more. While I am boasting a slight amount of pride for completing R&D to level 20 in all areas since Season 9.5 in July of 2014 just a little over a year ago, I am actually offering services to anyone, in any area that would like something crafted for them.
I will gladly stream the process to you via a live twitch feed, and I am willing to rush deliver a result for a fair like kind exchange of some content. I have a DOFF of purple quality for each area.
This is accurate as of 11/18/2015:
- With (2) +50 quality boosts slotted (these are quite expensive) you get a MAXIMUM quality chance for Ultra Rare of 46%
- With (2) +25 quality boosts slotted you get a MAXIMUM quality chance for Ultra Rare of 42%
- With (2) +10 quality boosts slotted you get a MAXIMUM quality chance for Ultra Rare of 38%
- With (1) +50 quality boosts slotted you get a MAXIMUM quality chance for Ultra Rare of 42%
- With (1) +25 quality boosts slotted you get a MAXIMUM quality chance for Ultra Rare of 39%
- With (2) +10 quality boosts slotted you get a MAXIMUM quality chance for Ultra Rare of 36%
- With (0) quality boosts slotted you get a MAXIMUM quality chance for Ultra Rare of 32%
Hit me up in game, or here, and I will make anything for anyone. You can look at the R&D tab of your own schools to see whats required to craft each item. Most of these things you can craft fairly easy and quickly, or buy them on the exchange.
here is a great tool from @dabelgrave to get you in the right place. You can email me the materials along with your request, but I recommend talking to me first, so I can let you know if you can have it in 20 hours

Take care!
Howdy fleet...
Don't know if I've been removed for not being online for so long. Just a quick thread to state i still live, but at the moment i do not have internet access due to moving to my new place.
Happy fleeting guys. Hoping to be back in game soon.

Sov asked me to post my hints to the Winter Wonderland event - which is a bit of a challenge as it hasn't started yet! (I guess she knows how I love these grindy ground projects!)
I will do so as soon as we see what evernts are being posted - but let me start with this piece of advice, since you may need to do some base work to get ready.
If you do not have the 8472 Reputation Counter-Command Exo-Armor Mk XII (from the 8472 Reputation projects) - GET IT! If you do not like grinding away on the races, the exo-armor can give you a decided advantage. After dodging or rolling (and you'll need to do this to come to a fast stop on the ice), you are granted a +25% runspeed for 3 seconds.
8472 gear should help ensure more first/second place wins for epohh marks (or whatever they are called this year) as well as fewer disqualifications for sliding out of bounds. More firsts, fewer disqualifications = more epohhs faster = less grindy grindy. Ditto for the daily race (tho getting disqualified here is harder; they are far more liberal with the 'out-of-bounds' markers for that race.
All that's left to decide is "Do I wear the frosty boots?" The added runspeed may not be worth the loss of traction - but more on that later. (but do get the frosty boots from the winter store, if for nothing more than zipping through tedious ground running in regular missions and episodes! It helps with things like the dino fights in Sphere ground BZ. We'll talk about that in another post!)
Now go get those isomorphic injectors!

Short answer? NO

This was about a 70-80% success, with a teenage % for crit.
I will say I have failed a NUMBER of times on a few 98% success planned missions, so much so that I still question the accuracy of these ratings.
What is your results so far? Do you have any amazing screenshots in either direction to share?

The Mirror Guardian is a mirror of the regular Guardian cruiser:
It just has an Engineering/Command seat where the regular cruiser has an Engineering/Intel seat.
The Admiralty Values are not so bad: ![]() |

I picked a phaser build, boosted by the 3 set items from the "Sunrise" mission, neatly upgraded to fleet rarity during this weekend. The shield stealing Phaser Drill as 3p bonus is a nice one
![]() Deflector (that got [SciCdr] at extremly rare) and Impulse Drive from the Terran Special Forces set boost Flow Capacitors. Together with a single Embassy console this makes the Plasmonic Leech ticking at 3.4
Delta Shield and Fleet [Amp][W->A][W->S] Warp Core are two of my favorites for patchwork builds, the Cutting Beam/Module Duo is another well-known combo.

With 50% damage of team done, incoming 40% damage/56% attacks taken, and a crowd control in the sleeve she is ready for brawling

And - as long as no Mirror Universe boxes appear - I can show off orbiting Terra

I've never flown a science ship, so I have only a small idea of what I'm doing. The new Research Lab consoles (represented here as normal sci consoles with not-normal modifiers, to indicate their primary/secondary mods), the crafted consoles, and deflectors/secondary deflectors let me boost flow-caps, particle gens and the grav well/TBR to silly levels without actually min/maxing anything, which means I shouldn't have to sacrifice much in order to have a decent ship, though she feels awfully squishy.

Greetings!
The time has come to set course to the Badlands Space Battlezone in the Alpha Quadrant to disrupt the Campaign of evil Admiral Leeta from the Mirror Universe! Every Fleet Mate at level 60 is cordially invited!
It takes about 3/4 of an hour to conquer the zone. You are blasting Terran Empire ships, pilot between plasma vortices and polarize your hulls to counter on the pushy Nebula Science ships. Defeat perils of all kind, disable fiendish devices, lay siege on space fortresses an send Leeta back through the Mirror!
Join for an epic battle and great rewards: ~1500 Dil, 90-150 Terran Reputation Marks and 4 Gravimetric Inductors will be yours.
There is a 3 minute break between the battle events running all day. So even if you feel energetic and run the battle repeatedly, there is room to chill, get some Coffee or have a Cigarette.
I will be on location serving as your tour guide and doing the battle at Saturday 28th of November, GMT+1 times 20:00 - 23:00. You can see the event in the fleet calendar.
Show up as you like, I will be happy to invite you into team during the break periods. If you find it's not your cup of tea, leave when the battle event you joined is done. Stay for another battle event if you like it.
See you all, the more the merrier!

Hailing from the U.S.S. ARCHON. My first ship built with tanking in mind :-)
![[Image: ship-archon.png]](http://www.safarihelm.de/sto/pix/ship-archon.png)
That happens when the Damage Faction picks a design from the Explorer' Clubs desks...
My loadout looks a bit into threat creation. I found a build more looking into damage quite appealing. The change I had to do to feel good was in the Engineering skills. Directed Energy Modulation somehow never gave me what I expected from a Commander skill and I went to a different loadout. Console changes are a bit of personal taste.
The STO Academy names some mods different from the game. my translation Game -> STO Academy is:
[EPS] -> [+PowTrans]
[Ins] -> [+PowIns]
My first ISA log on Attacks taken, Damage taken and damge given in a random group looked promising. ATKS In: 1,459 ATPS: 2.96 (70.3% of Team) - DMG In: 717,044 TPS: 1,453.27 (60.0% of Team) - DMG Out: 14,291,190 DPS: 29,130.02 (39.0% of Team)
