Happy New Year 2016. Or, as Mit'Naqt said after launching the fireworks: Qapla'!

Thanks to a T4 Fleet Shipyard - Qapla'!

The Terran Special Forces space is the first repuation space set I collected with Mit'Naqt - it just said "I love Klingons!" The 4-set abiltiy Disruptor Shell (2 min CD) does Disruptor damage and is gaining from matching Vulnerability Locators.

This is the 1st build where I really look into Dual Beam Banks, and the ship does well in Chrystalline Catastrophe Advanced (as KSG currently needs Fleet Marks, I pick the 80 marks as often as I can) and Infected Conduit Advanced. ISA is for dps metering - I get the HAMLET to 30K at the moment, in strong groups as well as in not so strong groups Smile

I have some experiments in mind like replacing one of the Plasma consoles by a Biogel Pack. The Plasmonic Leech currently drains 3.7 points per tick - as the Warp Core is also energy friendly (I see Shields and Weapons often at 130) a value of 3.4 may be good enough ...
Finally I found a map of the Jeffries tubes  Christmas

Just a little intro and thanks for the invite to the fleet. I got into STO through a friend, started about 3 years ago and have just returned from taking a break. I decided to try a Klingon character for a change, which I am enjoying immensely, for some reason Klingons seem more fun. My favourite career is Tac and I haven't tried many Klingon ships yet, but am enjoying the Kor Bird of Prey. Looking forward to seeing you in game
Qapla', Brothers and Sisters!

Again we set course to the Badlands Space Battlezone in the Alpha Quadrant to disrupt the Campaign of evil Admiral Leeta from the Mirror Universe! Every Fleet Mate at level 60 is cordially invited!

It takes about 3/4 of an hour to conquer the zone. You are blasting Terrans, and pilot between plasma vortices and swear on the pushy Nebula Science ships. Have your hull polarized, defeat ships of all kind, disable fiendish devices, lay siege on space fortresses an give Leeta what Leeta deserves!

Join for an epic battle and great rewards: ~1500 Dil, 90-150 Terran Reputation Marks and 4 Gravimetric Inductors will be yours. The Terran Reputation Set is focused to Disruptors, the Canon Weapons of The Empire!

There is a 3 minute break between the battle events running all day. So even if you feel enraged and run the battle repeatedly, there is room to chill, get some Raktajino or have a sip of Bloodwine.

I will be on location serving as your tour guide and doing the battle at Saturday 12th of December, GMT+1 times 20:00 - 23:00. See the event in the ingame fleet calendar.
Show up as you like, I will be happy to invite you into team during the break periods. If you find it's not your cup of tea, leave when the battle event you joined is done. Stay for another battle event if you like it.

Be Victory Ours!

When I looked into the Jupiter Carrier, my first thought was that the Zen ship is not better, hull- and console-wise even weaker than the free Breen Sarr Theln carrier.

The Fleet Carrier is at least on par, the Hanger Pets are cool, and the Mastery Trait from the Zen ship looked interesting. Currently all my characters tend to BIG ships, so I put my Vulcan Science Captain Priss in charge of commanding this behemoth.

The ship sports an Tactical Lt and an Engineering/Intel LtCdr where the Sarr Theln has seats for a Tactical LtCdr and an Engineering/Intel Lt.
I decided for a mad Experiment: The ship will fly with torpedos as main weapons. Spread them into a gravity well and see many Explosions...

To add activate the "Insult to Injury" trait, I use Ionic Turbulence-2 to disable my opponents movement and make the Gravity Well herding even nastier.

The Neutronic Torpedo, the Particle Emission Plasma Torpedo and the Gravimetric Photon Torpedo all have area effects. And many area effects one close space hurt.

I plagiarized from the best and adjusted:

The Biogel Console in combination with the Neutronic Torpedo, the Experimental Proton Weapon in combination with the Gravimetric Torpedo and an Adapted MACO set all help on damage, or even Critical hit. On damage and crit serve also the Assimilated Module, the Zero Point Module, the Sustained Radiation Field, the Tachyokinetic Converter and the Temporal Disentanglement console.

Damage meter results vary widely, as the clumsiness of the ship makes catching up with a rabid squirrel group a real pain:
SCM - Infected [LR] (S) - [03:48] DMG(DPS) - @Rakscha: 14.78M(66.24K) @Chillee: 10.59M(46.64K) @nyolcadszulott: 5.44M(24.39K) @edarta: 5.06M(23.33K) @wolle29: 1.39M(6.34K)

However, when the U.S.S CAGLIOSTRO arrives battle the herding abilities pay off and enemy ships explode:
CLR—Infected Space[3:48]— Dmg(DPS) —Shran 14.793.081(65.168) Chili 10.602.406(49.777) Hitman 5.459.344(26.247) Priss 5.070.755(30.547) Trix 1.399.807(13.590)
Ed 'suggested' I post my version of the Witch build. http://skillplanner.stoacademy.com/?buil...heln_11402

While the Hanseatic - well noted in fanfiction for her role in fomenting peace between the Federation and the Breen - is, indeed, yar, and can hold her own in most fights, her DPS is sadly lacking.

Suggestions welcome.

The Admiralty System is ruled by debile beancounters who hate us!

Though the system is now part of the game, a ships that is not in your active roster when Admiralty Assignments become available, does not make it to your Admiralty ship list. Ships in the dry dock enter the list when you activate them. Ships dismissed before you get level 52 are... lost.
Figured I would finally get off my butt and post an introduction.

So far i have 2 toons in the fleet, James Duphy a Starfleet Tactical officer, and Matek a Reman Engineer I do have a few other alts, Dan Taggart a Starfleet Engineer, and Sarek a KDF Gorn Engineer. (yes i know.. a Gorn with a vulcan name.. it was the only one on the generator i could pronounce lol)

@Glowingsunset and @Darkthorne are the two that introduced me to the group as the fleet i was in previously was an old Roleplaying fleet that was slowly venturing away from Star Trek Online.

Hope this is enough for the introduction, if not well ask any question you wish.
