The Undine Space Battle Zone is a great way to get Isomorphic Injections - Science Captains will find the Undine Set a true goody, solid and well performing.

It takes about 45 mins to conquer the zone. You are blasting undines and pilot between muddly bubbles and swear on the pulling strings of Undine sub space rifts.

In the final stages you punch 3 Planetkillers on the nose (Literally! It's their weak spot!) and close the gap by defeating a Voth invasion fleet sent to insult and to destroy the mammals!

Rewards are a reasonable amount of Dilithium, a modest amount of Undine Reputation Marks, 4 Isomorphic Injections and a row of space battles that feels epic!

There is a 5 minute break between the battle events running all day. So even if you feel energetic and run the battle repeatedly, there is room to chill, get some coffee, have a drink or sacrifce a cigarette to the powers that be.

Any Science Captain at level 50+ is cordially invited to show up for some action and get as many Isomorphic Injections as you can eat or stand farming.

Any Fleet Mate, friends & alts at level 50+ is cordially invited to join the fray to help, and to protect. Show as much fireworks as your warp cores can suffer. Turn Tripod ships into debris and kick the Saurs where their wall shields do not shine!

As this is a Battle Zone we are not alone, there are always brave Captains doing as we do.

To prepare yourself, get access to the battle zone: Have completed the Sphere of Influence and Circles within Circles, etc. Missions.

I will be on location serving as your tour guide and doing the battle at Saturday 19th of September,
GMT+1 times 16:00 - 18:00+ and 20:00 - 22:00+. Check the Fleet Events for tours as there may be more.
Show up as you like, I will be happy to invite you into team during the break periods. If you find it's not your cup of tea, leave when the battle event you joined is done. Stay for another battle event if you like it.

You will see me as Piper, Edar'Ta or Catriona (Federation), Mit'Naqt or Mel'hMac (Klingon Defense Force)
In Advanced do as learned in Normal, just more of that and harder.

to be continued...
I never miss creating a useless acronym, in this case it's Dilithium, Reputation and Fun...

This is my Romulan lane for a cooldown free tour:
  • Japori - battle a variety of Nausicaans, get occasionally hailed by the Enterprise. 3 anomalies
  • Acamar - silver tongue people into peace, two big (well...) Tal'Shiar ships appear as you spoil their evil plans.
  • Carraya System - five waves of Tal-Shiar are requesting your attention.
  • Gamma Eridon - battle the Gorn rebells pestering the system. expect your engines disabled. 2 anomalies and a satelite with radiation reports
  • Galordon - safe the Geklin space whales from stranding and lead them to the portal. Vaporize Hirogen whale hunters while following the whale trail. 2 anomalies
  • Narendra - battle a variety of Hirogen culprits. expect sensor jam. 2 anomalies
  • Archer - whack Tholian spiders, escape from webs. 3 anomalies
  • Beta Thoridor - fight unfriendly Klingons. Beware the Enter Commands!

Not recommended (I was too stupid for that):
Nequencia - tough trading puzzle. notes needed. no anomalies.
Pheben - have trouble locating actual targets in the green circles.
When you pick the consumable Reactive Armor Catalysts from the Broken Circle mission, you Tech R&D department learns how to make more of them.

I really like to get ablative armor and a Hot at 60 sec cooldown (shared with batteries).

Bound to character.

Making them is a bit odd. They are listed with an unexpected icon:

They are made like components, quite fast and with selectable stack size

Crit Proc is like for components x3

Which is nice. And finally they get the right icon, so I find them in my inventory Wink
Edar'Ta now has a true science ship - finally

My first build is a simple minded self healer to see if the "Time to Kill" mastery trait can be instrumentalized by permanent Heals over Time*.

Fun Fun Fun

I installed the Manheim Device and the Tipler Cylinder. This means a lack of Science Consoles and my Science Values are around 100; not that much suited for damage.
The Temporal ships were my first try to give Edar'Ta a nice science ship. I put the ships to the yard when I found the Manheim to be an expensive way to self-destruction. That behavior has been changed meanwhile, and I like it Big Grin
The Undine Set is cool, maybe I plug in the Solanae warp core.

* The answer is: No, in that layout it's neglible. Set up as above, I have a 12K dps ship, quite durable, with plenty nice options to  violate temporal directives.
Ed's Yellowstone Runabout

I unboxed this shuttle when the Green Eyed Furse chatted about shuttles in the Strike Group channel. A shuttle with a Plasma cloud? MUST HAVE! The abiltiy comes with the impluse drive that can be equipped in any shuttle. Which is nice.

The Regenerative Integrity Field from the Kobali Samsar - strong heal.

At that point I could not remember more on the late evening chat. So I made up my own mix:

Neutronium Alloy and Vulnerabilty Locator consoles since I had no better idea.

The Kobali space set is tanky, so put Deflector, Shield and Warp Core to use, to get a tough shuttle.

Thanks to Operation Gamma I know that small shuttles encounter even smaller foes buzzing around then. As I myself buzz around bigger opponents to get not hit, an Omnidirectional Phaser beam was my weapon of choice.

As torpedo I use the Hargh'peng - too awful to be permitted a boots by wide spread or high yield. That sounds like I want it.

As devices I use the Reactive Armor Catalysts from the Broken Circle mission for hull healing.

My Science Team BOff is the Hierarchy Potato Head for plain extra damage.

Your Current Rank: Fleet Rank: Commander

Time Zone: -5 GMT

How did you get into Star Trek Online? A friend showed me.

How long have you been playing for? Since, June 6, 2012. 3 years and 2 months.

What would be your best piece of advice to a new STO player? Loot EVERYTHING, and play to have fun.

What’s your favourite career type (Engineering, Science or Tactical)? Engineering because the ship buffs are awesome.

What’s your favourite ship? Without a doubt a sovereign class, I wish STO would make a T6 version.

What’s your best and worst STO moment? Best is when I created Sol Fleet. and when I joined Strike Group. Worst is when Sol fleet dwindled down to just me.

What are some of your other interests? IMVU, School, Family, Fun, Friends, Talking, joking around, messing with Farnie & spending time with everyone in the fleet.

What’s your favourite band? KORN!!

Anything else you want to say? I am happy and glad to be in this fleet I look forward to things to come.
At the last weekend Starfleet Strike Group unlocked the 2nd assignment officer on R&D in our Fleet Research Lab.

At high R&D skill levels, most white and green materials have become just fillers for your R&D inventory.
Everything has changed!

>>>>> Follow the blue line* >>>>>>
The northern assignment officer offers a daily  R&D project that turns 2x20 whites and 2x35 greens into Experience in a given R&D school, a piece of purple material and assorted pieces of blue materials. These are vary by school. So, if you are going for extra experience in a school, just pick that, otherwise look, which materials you want most. The project runs some seconds. You also get
1200 Dilithium Ore

Project Material requirements, by R&D School
You need 20 of each white and 35 of each green material.

Beam Weapons: Hydrazine Gas, Magnesite, Tritanuim, Verteron Particles
Cannons: Trionium Gas, Duranium, Tritanuim, Thoron Particles
Projectile Weapons:  Trionium Gas, Duranium, Tritanuim, Verteron Particles
Shields: Trionium Gas, Magnesite, Hexafluorine Gas, Verteron Particles
Engineering: Hydrazine Gas, Duranium, Hexafluorine Gas, Verteron Particles
Science: Hydrazine Gas, Duranium, Tritanuim, Thoron Particles
Ground Weapons: Trionium Gas, Magnesite, Hexafluorine Gas, Thoron Particles

Visit the eastern Assignment Officer to get the daily DOff mission for an R&D XP boost.

* For those who want to be Dizzy daring and always leave blue lines, here is a map**:

I made this useless map, so I show it!
Yesterday Commander Stella Star took place at the captain's seat of the Ambassador Class Support Cruiser U.S.S. ALMA.

The ALMA will explore the Space, defeat destiny in the Klingonian War and save Nimbus III from the grip of the Orion Syndicate. For me the Enterprise C is one of the most beautiful ships ever in Star Trek Online and I want to fly it as long as possible. So at level 18 I skipped missions and called the Temporal Ambassdor mission. A T5 version of this ship was rewarded at the end of summer last year. Dreams Maybe this will happen again this year ...
