So...

Our first lotto went off pretty we.. It took a few weeks, a month even, to sell all of the tickets. The second lotto has been available now for well over a month and isn't even 50% sold yet.

When we first devised this idea, it was with the full intent of helping the junior members obtain something they might not be able to afford. The idea was that for 5k dilithium, any member who grinds 8k a day, could buy a ticket even daily.

Since we have not had too overwhelming demand on a daily basis for tickets, it seems fair, and legit that we open it to all members. The goal of course is to close fleet projects, and fleet officers are the ones donating the FSM's.

So my proposal is that, as long as a second party (officer) plus one more (*anyone), is witness to the transaction, we allow all members, officers and above the opportunity to enter.

Here's the rules:
1.) Between now and 2/28 @ 12AM (EST)
2.) Invite new players to the fleet & Socialize with them and make them feel at home.
3.) Send me a message with the player account name and date they joined (before date in #1)
4.) The person with the most successful (real) invitees will get the 2,000,000 E.C.

As an added Bonus:
*.) I'm offering 4,000,000 EC to the individual who:
coordinates the most team play, and gets the fleet buzzing with PvE's, mission completion etc.
1.) This is a great way to earn a promotion to Captain and a good way to make new friends.
2.) This will be determined by final vote & will be posted on the website on 2/28.

Last but not least:
I'd like to remind everyone to check the fleet projects, and donate dilithium where you can. This will help the fleet grow and we will have bigger ships, weapons, engines, officers, all available for purchase for completing the fleet projects!

As I posted in the rank structure post, it makes sense to branch off here, to get ideas flowing.

A lot of people feel "klingon strike group" is too bland. Like saying Human Strike Group, but no one seems to mind "Starfleet Strike Group".

I personally respect Scott's vision, and the idea of what a "strike group" is. So thoughts would be to keep "Strike Group" - but what do we pre-empt it with? (suffix of prefix)

How long have you been playing for? Not very long. I started a couple months ago but only have been regularly playing for less than a month.

What would be your best piece of advice to a new STO player? Don't be a hoarder! I hoarded all my shit at first and was completely overwhelmed with what each thing meant for each purpose and which one was better for my needs. Turns out, most of it was pure crap anyways.

What’s your favourite career type (Engineering, Science or Tactical)? Engineering. My specialty in almost any game I play is tanking. I love to tank - if you're in space, get the fuck behind me and let me take all the damage.

What’s your best and worst STO moment? Best is meeting good people --- also I did an advanced Undine space STF last night with a couple people and while everyone else died at least once, I didn't even go below 50%... so I gave myself a pat on the back.
