For Immediate Release to all Captains.

Read Team Chat:
These 2 missions are heavily teamwork oriented to complete, so you need to Rez fallen Captains, because if they respawn they go to time out.... and those of us that don't will come and mock you in time out when you do!  You also need to leave the start area quickly or you will be trapped in the the Timeout area, just like those that respawned.

Second and just as important maybe more is don't use any HEAT based attacks on the Tholians, this INCLUDES the SOLAR GATEWAY and the sci ability exothermic reaction.  But mostly the Solar Gateway, swap it out morons and stop making the mission harder by providing aid and comfort to the enemy.  Or be brought up on charges of TREASON!  just like the first traitor, Micheal Burnum, or whatever her name was.  Molten Terrain & Methuselah Drone should also be avoided. Hyperonic Radiation is an AOE healer for Tholians, AVOID at ALL costs!  It can Dramatically heal them and cause a TPK, so not good.

Third, instead of the previously mentioned Kits which shall not be named again, use ANY kit from Q's Winter Wonderland!  They do Massive amounts of cold damage to the Tholians and are PERFECT for dealing out the hurt to those Heat loving crystals!  Also the Hurricane Turret from the Summer event is good for damage but makes falling in the acid more likely as visibility is reduced to Zero, use it and similar kits with Extreme caution.

Recap;
1) Communicate
2) Don't Respawn!
3) Rez the Fallen (you know who you are that don't!)
4) Avoid Helping the Tholians by healing them
5) Win and get your Prizes
6) Stop and Prevent Annoying PSAs like this one, Remember only you can stop Annoying PSAs act responsibly!

Thanks, Aishi - I finally managed mouse handling to copy this Peace
Scruffypup has pointed out that the crystal shards from the Crystalline Catastrophe count as destructible topredoes for an endeavor!
As he said, "Using the automated turret console plus the crystal TFO will complete the very hard endeavor before you can say Data's cat's name!"

Or Phrynne Fisher's favorite detective's name either!

I'm going go try it for my kinetic damage endeavor!

Thanks, Scruffy!
Aishi's Salvage Endeavor Tip!

When you hit up the Defera Battlezone (aka the Borg Ground BZ) you'll often find yourself getting these: [Cybernetic Armature] [Fibro-Neural Interface Cabling] [Nanopower Capacitor] as not only drops but daily mission rewards.  SAVE them!
At the Base Camp you can Trade them for Greens (supposedly good for fighting the Borg but junk really!  like mkI shields with the Plasma damage reducer? seriously?) ranging from MkI to MkX, it helpfully tells you how many of each you could make as well as the individual costs.  ALL you have to do is go see your faction's Research Scientist or Military Researcher, and trade your drops/mission rewards for them and then salvage them!  Your Choice of Shields, Armor, or weapons or any combination there of.  Each costs 11 to 35 of the items, the combination varies on what type it is. So mix and match get one of each and you'll roughly use 11 to 35 of each item (if you have the same amount of each.  Otherwise buy the ones that require you to "spend" what you have the most of first to maximize your salvage operation.
Easy right?
You can use just 3 slots in your bank to hold enough to do any salvage endeavor you get.  So if you're looking for a way to make some dil and be ready for that salvage endeavor instead of buying junk on the exchange consider the Defera BZ as a place to stomp some Borg, get Dil, marks (which you can trade for dil), and currency for salvageable junk you DON'T have to spend EC on or spend time alting/running some mission to get drops.

Ohhh and if you go... don't forget your TR-116A/B!  They don't adapt to it =) so you spend more time shooting and less time being a target!

Party Thanks for sharing, again
Aishi's Pahvo Tips
For immediate Redistrubution to the Fleets.

The Best tactics for Pahvo that I've seen are as follows:
Split into 2 groups and start clearing 2 areas this should take about 5 minutes, with the first group that clears their Region heading towards the third untouched region.
Remember if you start purification of the 3rd Crystal in a region with LESS then 90 seconds on the timer you will NOT clear it in time.  Better to save those CDs for the Battle at the spire.
Eng Captains, Turrets here are your friend!  Used often and in conjunction with a doff that increases the chance for a second turret to be beamed down can make the difference!  Both in Defending the crystals during purification but also with defending the roots.  Use your Shield ability to drop a shield in front of the most exposed Crystal to give it added protection.
Drones are also helpful, like Tac Teams they will chase after the enemy and could drop them before they get to the crystals/roots however they can start attacking multiple targets and get wiped out quicker.
Rez!  If you're at a 2nd or 3rd Crystal and someone falls rez them so they are back in the fight sooner!
During the Boss Fight with the Captains Focus on them!  If they go down quick, then you don't need to worry about defending the roots after that!  Otherwise have 3 on the Capts and 2 on Root Patrol!
Finally Gearing!  A 65 Jem'Hadar with their STARTING gear can clear a region (might take a little longer but they can do it!) so you DON'T need UBER gearing to solo a region!!

Stay Safe out there Captains!
End Transmission

Heart Thanks you, Sis Heart
Hello all,
So according to the forums I have been part of the Fleet since august of 2016 and now im getting to the whole greeting thing hahaha, sorry about that.

Some quick stuff about me, I’m old, in the military and a huge fan of Star trek. Want to know more then lets become friends lol.

Account Name:
@king82
Character Names:
Normal:
WarKing (65 Tac) Main Character
Terulor (65 Eng)
Shryr (64 Sci)
Garool (53 Tac) used as a supply depot for all bind on account stuff for all my toons, kind of useful.
Ayr ( 34 Tac)
Four ( 51 Tac)
T’Bar (65 Eng) my only Klingon Toon
T.O.S.:
Rey (60 Tac)
Delta Recruit:
Rakrek (51 Tac)
Heezan (57 Eng)
Romot (39 Sci)
Discovery Era:
Erick (21 Tac)
Sunni (20 Eng)
Carma (10 Sci)
Your Current Rank:
As you can see I put all my Toon lvl’s and type next to their names so I guess this answers the question lol.
Time Zone:
US Eastern (GMT -5)
How did you get into Star Trek Online:
Well thanks to my dad being a SCiFI nerd and loving the concept of Star Trek I grew up on it, the story of STO is pretty funny. On the day of launch I actually skipped all my collage classes for the  few hours of game time I could get before having to go to work (PRIORITIES  DUHA ).
How long Have you been playing for :
Since launch with a lot of time on and off because of my profession and being a parent I have to balance a lot of things just to get some hours of game time lol.
What would be your best piece of advise to a new STO player? :
One toon at a time keep all bind on account items to give to any new toon you will be creating so it makes things easier for that next time around, crafting is time consuming but worth it in the end for all of the new toons you will be creating.
What’s your Favorite Career Type? :
Tactical I would say but im also not one of those players who try to get max DPS I like to play just to play if you get what I mean, a little bit of reaseach to make things work but no complicated formulas or all that jazz that people do to take a Borg Cube down in one shot ( cool but takes away from the fantasy ).
What’s your Favorite ship? :
Fleet Advance Escort (Hestia Variant) great update to the Prometheus class, sleek and beautiful
What’s your best and worst moment in STO? :
Best is getting a toon to survive a Task force without being killed a million times with basic gear lol
Worst is getting killed a million times in any event or mission lol
What are some of your other interests? :
Family time (very important), learning new things like wood working.
What is your favorite band?:
Love all music I would say except blue grass and most rap, it’s not the same anymore
Anything else you want to say?:
Not really big into PVP always get owned lol, if I can help I will, not always around to play and that saddens me ☹ . I have been playing this game since launch but haven’t gotten very far into all things but if there is a will there is a way hahaha. I look forward to becoming a good officer in this fleet and gaining some good friends.
its a few years old, it may not be complete, and it may be boring but if you are interested in doing specific types of patrol missions this is a good place to start.

BETA QUADRANT

Beytan - talky mission, boring but not kill everything
Bhea - destroy shipyards weakend battleship?
Pico - find ship, escort ship, no killing
Kinjer - Collect data, but kill things, destroy base
Dmar - Destroy mining, more killing 5 things
Koolhaas - scan asteroids, kill things randomly hidden
Cernan - investigate crash. . scan 4 things, lame
Mandel - Kill 3 groups of bad guys
Zenik - Undine?! No, land and scan mission, but it does have coccons, so there's that
Watran - Scan and destroy
Hana - Meet with random ship and what the hell is that the time travel guy? (Jason Leonard) Fight random turrets, but otherwise quite interesting
Celes - Investigate some "accidents" I remember this one, overall best
Maro - Repair things and destroy ships, letdown after Celes level 0 ships?
Pellme - land and scan, with full bridge crew?
Xleen - Kill turrets, tricobalt turrets! Like the map props
Ruben - Rescue frieghters from turrets, lots of turrets suddenly
Kei - Repel attackers? So kill everything, okay Little more creative in sequencing at least
Europani - Land and KILL? That's a first
Rhi - Fight romulans, kill 5 groups
Fitzan - Scan and kill, bleh, but no mission reward?
Lonco - Kill two different groups, almost story related, but they're all Romulans (no Hirogen)
Icari - Scan debris for missing ship, no space combat!
Llaiir - Planet Vancuvor, land and scan, Zanxthklot Dynasty of the ancient Klingon Empire??
Vhoran - Land and scan, Iconian technology?
Sarita - Kill 5 groups, but the mission giver looks like she's part zombie or borg or something.
Daise - Kill ships, repair things
Hondo - Investigate missing ships, scan wrecks, lots of story for simple mission, no mission markers? no combat
Danteri - Feregi, that's different, oh, diplomatic mission, nifty, both sides look exactly the same. . . Oh, he's family, explains everything, could have been more intersting
Kern - Kill things, destroy ships, ho hum, but mission markers hang around
Seedea - Part of evacuation, interesting, escort and defend. Escort disappeared for some reason, oh no, it's just slow, tedius in fact
Veyga - Clear minefields. mission markers dont' clear here either
Aido - Kill 5 groups
Khellian - Scan and kill
Muso - Track down a Ferengi who is stiffing Starfleet. Large indoor map, interesting. Oh, and a Hologram character. And a question of sentience. Wow, there's a lot in this one. I like this one.
Terrh - Kill 5 groups, but LOW XP, not worth it
Sienae - Kill 5
Fvillhaih - Missing mission intro, looking for missing ships. Kind of broken.
K'shan - Kill things, but there's almost a story. . . Rescue the holograms
Lirss - Scan and kill, bah, but all Apexs? Kind of brutal
Khaiell - Repair satellites, boring, but whatever
Ceron - Kill 4 groups!
Vor - Defend attacking waves, so they come to me instead, nice, more intense than I was expecting for Gorn
Vesper - Kill and scan
Lilitu - Scan and kill, 6??
M'rade - Search for runabout. Little more interesting, but basically scan and kill
Dera - Beam down, scan things
Alth'ndor - Rescue hostages
T'iokol - Destroy things, kill ships, at least there's more than "because they're there", they want to build a gateway
ALPHA QUADRANT
Chapel - Investigate debris, but just scanning, though it is Borg, so there's that, maybe ground work for Khitomer?
Culver - Land and scan, but return to the beam in point to leave? Really? Random Jem'hadar battles
Liuen - Kill the Klinks, kill 5 mission
Obrom - Another kill 6, small bit of story, but meaningless, but there's more than 6. . ., oh they respawn?
Andoss - Scan cargo crate? oh, scan 5 things mission, nice background, and some story I think I should have heard about (Kobliad and deuridium?)
Aokii - Destroy ships in drydock, kind of. Then fight battle group. Weeeeee. . ..
Aria - More kill things. Big planet
Caralun - Land and scan
Corwin - Kill 6
Malon - Land, scan and kill, Cardies are hard on ground
Toron - Kill 5
Lateri - Destroy five illeagle mining facilities, better than just kill 5 I guess
Kinjun - Land and Scan, love the enviroment though
Reimers - Kill 5 groups
Elwing - Kill 4 groups, then capture a criminal leader, ending is a nice change of pace, wish there was a bit more
Lilsis - Scan 5
Shahr - Destroy 5 groups, again
Dubhe - Kill 5, destroy facility
Crown - Land and scan, nice smoke effects
Enocha - Kill 5 groups
Phi - Scan and kill, easy enough to dodge enemies though
Mirish - Free trapped ships, kill things for that, nice idea at least, but all level 0! Just first group I guess, then kill 4 groups, murderous last group is level 41 though? Huh?
Oradhe - Scan things, but random, 1000 year old debris that weren't there last month, mysterious, random DS9 epsiode reference (phasing planet episode) Nifty
B'lii - Scan and kill, 7 of them!!
Lahra - Land and scan, quite a cliff you have there. . .
Bavar - Kill 5, god map is huge
Kalesta - Scan and kill GORN?! Also, nine terraforming satellites look like Treasure Station. . . Oh, flavor text when scanning, nifty, big old shield bubble
Mryax - Oh no, the engines are damaged, go find stuff to fix it. Also fight Klingons, if you want (dodged around them). This far out though?
Mec - Kill 5 groups of Orions
Vestalan - Scan for mines, interesting, but just a scan 5 mission, pretty close up view of a mine though
Managed to go from level 24 to 54 using just those patrols, so there's that
The T'Pau impressed me immediately - I love my Eternal class vessels, but if I have had this tiny Vulcan scout ship before, I would not have looked for another science vessel. Available to all factions, highly versatile, it rocks!

1st loadout I liked

Lovely BO settings I would fly if there were three of me!
