How did you get into Star Trek Online?  I needed a brake from another space mmo (Battlestar galactica online) and i read on facebok that they made STO free to play , and voila i'm here. Needles to say that i'm a trekkie since i was 7.

What are some of your other interests? Countles..... I'm a chef so cooking ofc, spearfishing, welding, mechanic work of any kind, fishing, etc...

Anything else you want to say? I'm not regular player, i play for a month, two, three and than i don't play for month, two, three.

What I bother to explain
The firing mode BO Abilities BW Fire at Will, Torpedo Spread & Scatter Vollley

• create AOE DPS (elementary)
  
• trigger the Prevailing Innervated Impulse Engines -> Agility. They are spread to achieve a smooth flight.
  
• trigger the Protomatter Matrix Infusers -> Heal -> Temporary Hit Points per Hull Image Refractors (preemptive healing)
  
• trigger the Superior Area Denial trait -> debuff enemies & damage boost for the S'kul Fighters

Since I don’t know what anybody else does, and I only know what I am doing while playing this game I posted a few times about the DIl rewards from duty officer assignments. But attached to this thread is (hopefully I did it right) three pics of my list of what I do or try to do every day per toon for duty officers.

I am trying to get all purple duty officers for my main toon, which is Dante. He has mostly blue and mostly purple, very little green doffs.   I get a lot of critical‘s with him as far as duty officer assignments go. So if you take the time and spend the EC to get the duty officers that you need for these assignments, You should bring in a good amount of the Dil every day. I have a post with the amount I earned in the month of December, if you care to see.



 It’s very little work for the pay out.

Most of the time I will equip my ship(s) for defense against Phasers/Disruptors...Plasma/Tetryon and Poloran/Antiproton.  If I only have two load outs for said ship I usually double up the consoles for Pha/DisPla/Tet and load out with Pla/TetPol/Ap. And I swap out shield that protects whatever energy the enemy uses.  

For ground I usually have 4 bo’s with armor and shields for each of the three energy pairs. 

Sure, sometimes I use things that protect all energy equally, but my question is does anyone else swap out items according to the foe? Or do you just have a blanket of protection across the board?

The worms and the scorpions.....what type of damage do they dish out. 
I have been looking online for an hour and I keep coming up empty.  
I assume the scorpions deal physical damage only, but the worms...is that fire? Spittle? Smegma?

The Universal Endeavor is 50k hull heals... for your teammates.

Ouch.

Most of us have great shields and great hulls, so taking damage is challenging enough - but getting your teammate to take damage so you can heal it is even harder.

May I suggest the following: choose a ship with Engineering team (or other hull heals), hook up with a friend, unequip your shields, and pick up the patrol "Within the Briars". Enter the metreon gas pockets, and fire away. Have your friend keep within 10 klicks of where you are, and you targeted as you do this.

As soon as you begin to take damage, have him/her click on the hull heals they are using. Rinse and repeat until they hit 50k of heals - then switch roles, re-equip your shields, let them drop their trousers... I mean shields... and blow up some more metreon gas until you can heal them as well.

Afterwards, complete the mission as directed (or do the mission, then play in the metreon pockets.)

Ruins of doom works for this as well. One of you sits near the mutated spores, takes damage every 20 seconds, and the other one heals.

Another challenging challenge resolves through teamwork and evil cunning.
